This Legal Notice provides ownership, responsibility, intellectual-property, product-information, and legal-compliance disclosures for forumappliances.shop. The site operates under the Forum Appliances trade name for a Germany-focused online retail storefront. This notice should be read with the other policies in this document.
The live site must contain an easily recognisable, directly accessible, and permanently available Impressum. Under section 5 of the Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz - DDG), the required information may include the operator's legal name and service address, legal form and authorised representative, a rapid electronic contact route including email, the relevant commercial or similar register and registration number, competent supervisory authority for licensed activities, professional information where applicable, and VAT or business identification number where one exists.
This document does not invent any operator data. Before publication, replace the publication note with the merchant's verified legal information and ensure it matches checkout, invoices, returns, privacy notices, register records, and tax registrations. General enquiries may be directed to info@forumappliances.shop, but an email and domain do not replace the mandatory service address or other Impressum fields.
This policy pack is effective August 28, 2026. The version posted when an order is accepted ordinarily governs that order, together with any product-specific disclosure and later change required by law. The merchant should retain previous versions and a record of material changes so customers and regulators can determine which notice applied at a relevant time.
Site content supports product discovery, comparison, purchase, fulfilment, and customer service. It is general commercial information, not legal, medical, electrical, engineering, installation, nutritional, or other professional advice. A customer should obtain qualified advice when a product or intended use involves safety, code, health, structural, technical, or regulatory considerations.
Nothing on the site creates a professional-client, fiduciary, agency, partnership, franchise, employment, or joint-venture relationship. A sale contract arises only as described in the Terms of Service. A customer must not rely on informal content or a general article as a product-specific guarantee unless the merchant expressly incorporates it into the transaction.
Original site text, layout, graphics, compilations, and merchant-owned photographs are protected by German and international copyright laws. Product photographs, manuals, specifications, videos, and brand assets supplied by manufacturers or licensors remain owned by their respective rights holders. Their appearance on the site does not transfer ownership to the merchant or user.
A user may download or print a reasonable copy of product and policy information for personal shopping, installation reference, warranty, or transaction records. Reproduction, republication, resale, systematic extraction, mirroring, modification, or commercial use requires permission unless a statutory exception applies. Copyright notices and digital rights information must not be removed.
Forum Appliances, the domain, logos used by the store, and any associated get-up may function as trade names or trademarks of their respective owner. Other product names, logos, and marks belong to their owners. Reference to a third-party mark is for truthful product identification, compatibility description, comparison, authorized resale, or another lawful purpose and does not by itself imply sponsorship or endorsement.
We aim to present material product information accurately but rely in part on suppliers and manufacturers. Specifications, packaging, model revisions, accessories, colour, texture, and availability may change. Screen and lighting differences can affect appearance. Measurements may be approximate or subject to ordinary manufacturing tolerances. The product delivered must nevertheless conform to the sale contract and mandatory legal standards.
For this store's home and kitchen appliances assortment, customers must review the full listing and applicable documentation before purchase and use. Customers must confirm EU voltage and plug compatibility, dimensions, access routes, clearances, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, load capacity, and installation requirements. Qualified installation is required whenever law, code, product safety, or the manufacturer requires it. Contact us before ordering if a missing specification is material. We will correct a material known error and provide the remedy required for an affected accepted order.
A compatibility tool, search filter, staff suggestion, model list, or cross-reference is based on information supplied and does not replace checking the exact product and equipment identifiers. Manufacturers can revise parts and specifications within a model range. The customer should compare dimensions, connectors, ratings, serial ranges, and manual requirements.
Installation or modification by an unqualified person can cause injury, fire, leak, electrical shock, property damage, code breach, or warranty loss. Electrical, gas, refrigerant, structural, plumbing, built-in, or other regulated work must be performed by a qualified person where required. The merchant is not responsible for unsafe or unlawful installation to the extent permitted by law.
The site may link to Shopify, payment services, carriers, manufacturers, manuals, regulators, social media, or other websites. Links are provided for convenience or relevant information. We do not control every external page, change, security practice, availability, or statement. Users should review the destination's terms and privacy notice and should verify that they are on the intended domain.
Reviews and questions may express the contributor's own experience and are not necessarily the merchant's statements. Results can vary with use, installation, environment, skill, and product revision. We may moderate content for relevance, authenticity, privacy, safety, illegality, threats, spam, conflicts of interest, or rights infringement. Honest criticism is not removed merely because it is unfavorable.
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, vulnerability testing, malware distribution, credential theft, scraping that disrupts service, or another attack. Suspected security issues should be reported privately to the contact email with enough information to investigate and without exploiting or disclosing personal information. We may preserve logs and cooperate with Shopify, providers, affected individuals, and authorities.
Products made available in Germany must comply with applicable EU and German safety, conformity, traceability, labelling, warning, technical-documentation, responsible-economic-operator, reporting, and corrective-action duties. Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety (GPSR) applies from 13 December 2024 to covered products and includes requirements relevant to online product offers.
The merchant must retain and display required manufacturer, importer, EU responsible-person, product identifier, warning, and safety information as applicable; monitor complaints and safety information; cooperate with competent authorities; and take prompt corrective action. If an affected product was supplied, the merchant may stop sale, contact customers, and arrange warning, repair, replacement, refund, modification, return, or disposal instructions. Customers should stop using a product that appears unsafe and follow verified recall directions or the EU Safety Gate information.
The Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz - BFSG) applies to covered e-commerce services provided to consumers after 28 June 2025. The live store should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, with accessible product and service information, navigation, identification, security, and payment functions as applicable.
A microenterprise providing services may fall within the statutory service exemption, but the definition and any product-related duties must be assessed against the actual operator's staff and financial data. The merchant must document its applicability analysis and publish any required accessibility information rather than assuming an exemption from the domain name alone.
Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy, GDPR, and BDSG. Cookies and similar terminal-equipment access are managed under section 25 TDDDG, including consent for non-essential technologies and the limited statutory exceptions for transmission and strictly necessary functions.
Electronic marketing is managed under section 7 UWG and the GDPR, including prior consent or every condition of the existing-customer exception, sender transparency, and easy objection. Customers may stop marketing without losing necessary order, security, recall, warranty, or support communications.
Nothing on the site excludes or restricts mandatory rights under the BGB and EGBGB distance-contract and consumer-sales rules, the UWG, the PAngV, or another applicable German or EU consumer rule. Voluntary warranties, return windows, disclaimers, clearance labels, and manufacturer procedures operate in addition to mandatory protections.
Consumer-facing total prices must include VAT and other unavoidable price components, additional delivery costs must be disclosed before purchase, and unit prices must be shown where the PAngV requires them. Product, condition, availability, delivery-time, guarantee, environmental, and price-reduction claims must be accurate and supported.
A merchant that qualifies as a producer or manufacturer first making packaging or packaged products available in Germany must assess registration, extended producer responsibility, system participation, reporting, labelling, and authorised-representative duties under Regulation (EU) 2025/40 and the German Packaging Law Implementation Act (Verpackungsrecht-Durchführungsgesetz - VerpackDG), as in force for the relevant date and packaging stream. The actual status cannot be determined from a storefront domain.
The merchant must also assess product-specific producer-responsibility and take-back regimes, including electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, and other regulated streams where sold. Registration identifiers, market-surveillance contacts, environmental statements, and disposal instructions must be accurate and must not be invented or copied from another business.
This Legal Notice should not be read in isolation. The Terms of Service govern site use and sale contracts; the Return and Refund Policy governs remedies and discretionary returns; the Shipping Policy governs delivery; and the Privacy Policy governs personal information. A product page may add a specific term when it is presented before purchase and is lawful.
A rights holder who believes content infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or another right should identify the work or right, the exact site location, the basis of the claim, ownership or authority, and reliable contact details. We may request verification, restrict content during review, contact the supplier or contributor, and take action consistent with law.
We may update this notice to reflect legal, technical, operational, or ownership changes. The current version displays its effective date. Questions, accessibility requests, safety notices, and rights complaints may be sent to info@forumappliances.shop. Include the relevant URL, product, and order number when applicable.
